Kinder News – Dec 11/13/15
1 – Literacy – Ll, Fairy Tales. We are working on sequencing the order of the stories/once upon a time…. happily ever after.
2 – Numeracy – 2 Dimensional Shapes/3Dimensional Objects.
3 – Phys. Ed. – Movement, dance, nursery rhymes. On Tuesday our class will be videotaped doing the ‘Gangnam Style’ dance to put onto our websiteJ
4 – Saturday, Dec. l5th. 9:00 – 12:00 class as usual. 12:00 – 2:00 Medieval Feast. Activities include: Knighting of honored guests, games and crafts, medieval music and more. $l0.00/person. Feast will be in the Great Hall. Dinner is fresh bread with honey butter, roast chicken, carrot salad speckled with raisins, medieval kale and sweet yam side dish and spiced baby potatoes. Our Pirate Feast was very worthwhile to go to. The children had a lot of fun, so be sure to bring your little ones to the Medieval Feast PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL by Tuesday noon so the cooks know how many dinners to prepare.
5 – Children’s Christmas Party, Friday, Dec. 21 – Starts at l0:30 a.m. for about 2 hours. Santa will read a story to the children and give them a gift bag. Milk and cookies served. $5.00/child. Hot dog with chips available for $2.00.
6 – Winter Break – No school Dec. 24 – Jan 7. School starts back up on Tuesday, January 8th.
