New Homeschool Coach Required!

Hey . . . want to work at Phoenix? We are a weird but wonderful place and we are looking for one more Learning Coach.

What does a Coach do?

First, you must be a certificated Alberta Teacher with a valid certificate and have taught within the last ten years.

You will be primarily working with homeschooling families to help them with their educational journey at our location. You should be:

  • friendly
  • open to different ways of teaching,
  • understand differentiate instruction strategies
  • and be able to suggest resources.

Work Arrangement

It is a part-time position of 2 days a week with some teaching. It may work into more hours . . . it depends on the number of students we get in the door!

Characteristics of a Coach

  • Friendly
  • Able to work in a team
  • Good with documentation and details
  • Good problem solver
  • Willing to pitch in and help!

Orientation Session – Come on down!

We will be hosting an information session at 4:00 PM on MONDAY, August 26. (320 19 Street SE, Calgary)

We will tour the building, answer any questions, meet the principal and then set up interview times.

Start date – August 29!!
