The Phoenix Foundation is so grateful to Mike Hannigan at Benjamin Moore Calgary Hannigan’s Paint & Decor for the MANY gallons of mis-tints they have donated to our 3000 sq ft, thematic,” In the Scene Studio” classrooms.
Phoenix is a Not-for-Profit school that caters to home-educating families; we also provide enrichment classes that are available to all children regardless of what school they attend.
We re-create the thematic staging in this giant classroom 5 times a year and instruct the classes for Grades 1-6 students using the theme for Language Arts, Social Studies, Math and Science. You can only imagine what a true GIFT it is to have so many beautiful paints that may not have been perfect for their first purpose but has enhanced so many children’s experience in learning!
Our last theme of this 2014-2015 school year just opened and it is CIRCUS https://phoenixfoundation.ca/2015/05/11/circus-is-open/ !! It is bright and beautiful, our artists certainly made the most of your Donation! Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!!
